terms of service

1. acceptance of terms

by accessing and using stanme, you accept and agree to be bound by these terms of service. if you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

2. age verification

all users must be at least 18 years of age to use stanme. age verification is required during registration. users in the united kingdom and its crown dependencies (isle of man, jersey, and guernsey) are required to complete additional identity verification in compliance with uk online safety regulations before accessing age-restricted content.

3. eligibility

you must be at least 18 years old to use stanme. by using our platform, you represent and warrant that:

  • you are at least 18 years of age
  • you have the legal capacity to enter into these terms
  • you will comply with all applicable laws and regulations

4. account responsibilities

you are responsible for:

  • maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • all activities that occur under your account
  • notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • ensuring your content complies with our community guidelines

5. content ownership

you retain all ownership rights to content you post on stanme. by posting content, you grant stanme a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute your content on the platform.

6. content review & pre-screening

to maintain a safe and compliant platform, all user-uploaded content is subject to review before publication. our content review process includes:

  • automated screening for prohibited content using industry-standard detection systems
  • manual review by our moderation team when flagged by automated systems
  • verification that content does not violate our standards or applicable laws
  • age verification checks for all content creators

content that is found to be illegal, harmful, or in violation of our standards will be rejected and may result in account suspension. we reserve the right to remove any content at any time if it is later found to violate our policies.

7. prohibited conduct

you may not:

  • post illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
  • harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • attempt to bypass security measures or access restrictions
  • use automated systems to access the platform without permission

8. payment terms

stanme processes payments through third-party payment processors. you agree to their terms of service. creators will receive payouts according to our payout schedule minus applicable platform fees and payment processing fees.

9. subscription cancellation

if you have an active subscription and wish to cancel it from rebilling, you have the following options:

  • in-app cancellation: go to your subscriptions page and click the cancel button to cancel your subscription directly
  • contact us directly at hey@stan.me to request cancellation
  • contact ccbill's consumer support department at https://support.ccbill.com
  • call ccbill consumer support at 888.596.9279

upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. you will not be charged for subsequent billing periods after cancellation is processed.

10. termination

we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

11. disclaimer

stanme is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
